Terms
Terms of service and online sales.
English is a courtesy translation; the Polish version is binding.
§ 1. General provisions and definitions
These Terms govern the provision and online sale of services by: Emilia Superson – Psychotherapy Practice, Kobierzyńska 164A/7, 30-382 Kraków, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 6762665592, REGON: 528161065, email: emilia.j.superson@gmail.com (the “Provider”).
- Client – a person using the services; Consumer – a Client as defined by the Polish Civil Code.
- Service – an online psychological consultation, online individual psychotherapy or online crisis support, held remotely (Google Meet).
- Session – a single 50-minute meeting.
§ 2. Scope of services
Services are provided online only, in Polish or English, for adults. Services and prices (gross, in PLN):
- Online psychological consultation – 50 min – PLN 200.
- Online individual psychotherapy – 50 min – PLN 200.
- Online crisis support (1–3 sessions) – 50 min per session – PLN 200 per session.
§ 3. Technical requirements
The following are required to take part in a Session: a device with a stable internet connection, a working camera and microphone/headphones, and a quiet, private space. Meetings take place via Google Meet.
§ 4. Booking and conclusion of the contract
A booking is made via the calendar on the website or by contacting the Provider. The contract is concluded once the booking is confirmed and payment is made under § 5. Before concluding the contract, the Client confirms having read these Terms.
§ 5. Payments
- Payment for the Service is made in advance, online, at the time of booking, via the payment operator Stripe – by BLIK, payment card or Revolut.
- The booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.
- Card/BLIK data is processed solely by the payment operator; the Provider does not store it.
- Cash is not accepted. On request, the Provider issues an invoice.
§ 6. Right of withdrawal (Consumer)
A Consumer who concluded a distance contract generally has the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason (Art. 27 of the Consumer Rights Act). A model withdrawal form is provided in Annex 1.
If the Session is to take place within 14 days of concluding the contract: by booking and paying, the Consumer requests that performance begin before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledges that, once the Service is fully performed (the Session is held), they lose the right of withdrawal (Art. 38(1) of the Consumer Rights Act).
If the Session is to take place more than 14 days after concluding the contract: the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the conclusion of the contract; if the Consumer withdraws within that period, the full fee is refunded.
Regardless of the above, cancellation and rescheduling of a Session are governed by § 7.
§ 7. Cancellation and rescheduling
- Cancelling or rescheduling a Session is possible up to 24 hours before the scheduled time – the fee is then refunded or the appointment rescheduled.
- For cancellation later than 24 hours before, or a no-show, the full session fee is charged.
- Refunds are made to the same payment method, no later than within 14 days.
- These cancellation and rescheduling rules apply independently of the right of withdrawal (§ 6) and also after the withdrawal period. They are an additional, more favourable contractual arrangement and do not limit the Consumer's statutory rights.
§ 8. Complaints
Complaints may be sent to emilia.j.superson@gmail.com or in writing to the Provider's address. A complaint should include the Client's details, a description and the expected resolution. The Provider handles complaints within 14 days and informs the Client of the outcome.
§ 9. Out-of-court dispute resolution
A Consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures (e.g. mediation, consumer ombudsman) and the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
§ 10. Personal data
Data processing is described in the Privacy policy on the website.
§ 11. Final provisions
- Matters not covered are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
- The Provider may amend these Terms for valid reasons; contracts concluded earlier are governed by the previous version.
- These Terms are effective from 18 June 2026. The Polish version prevails.
